I want to remember this forever
Des is at that age right now where everything that comes out of her mouth is rude and borderline mean. All I get from her lately is "Moooooooom" or "duh" all attitude all the time. It's driving me crazy. Boarding school in Tibet with the monks s looking better and better every day. After an insanely frustrating argument with her a few days ago she stomped off to her room declaring I'm the meanest mom EVER and she wished she was never born. About a half hour later she brought out a notebook and told me she wrote me something. I was a little scared to open it. I figured it would be a detailed and itemized list of my horrible mom skills. Turns out I was off...way off.

That was the best thing I've gotten from Des in a long time. It made me tear up a little. She is a little behind in the handwriting department but getting this from her was awesome.

Noelle's Nap Time

Chuck Wagon Ridin'
Our local apple orchard opened for the season recently. It's an awesome place with amazing donuts, a petting zoo, rides, games for the kids, amazing donuts (I really like their donuts) and of course apples. We spend a lot of time there from mid August until November. On our first trip this year I took these pictures of Whynter and Destiny on the 50 cent chuck wagon ride. Whynter was a little scared but got over it pretty quick.

Frends Fur-Ever
We recently got a kitten at Destiny's request. To keep our older anti-social cat company. We named her Willow. Our older cat (Kiara) hates her and I'm convinced Kiara is plotting Willow's demise...but that's a whole other post. Anyway it turns out little miss Willow has feelings for Whynter and only Whynter. They sleep together, play together, and even watch TV together. Whynter is loving it. She's spent her whole two years on this earth trying to pet Kiara and now she has her very own kitten . It's freaking adorable.

Daddy's Girl
Whynter adores her daddy. She asks me about a million times a day where he is. Then when he gets home he can't go two feet without her on his heels. If he goes anywhere near the front door she screams "I TOOOOO!" I hope it stays that way as she gets older.

9 Years Old!
Destiny's turned 9 February10th of this year. I can't believe she's 9 already. She getting too big too quick. I love watching her grow up but I hate that she's growing up. Part of me wants to keep her little forever.

The Love in Her Eyes
This is one of my absolute favorite pictures of Whynter. I know I say that a lot but I love this one. My husband took it during one of the first really nice days of spring. We were at the playground and she was having a blast.
